Warranty & Maintenance Policy

• Zamil Air Conditioners provides a comprehensive warranty on AC units for a period of two years, covering spare parts and maintenance labor.
• The warranty extends to five years on the compressor, where the company covers the cost of the part only after the comprehensive warranty expires, while the customer bears the labor cost.
• All spare parts purchased from authorized outlets are covered by a 60-day warranty from the invoice date.
• Zamil Air Conditioners guarantees that all products and spare parts are free from manufacturing defects.


Service & Maintenance

• Inspection fees are determined in advance with the customer and are deducted from the total invoice when maintenance is carried out.
• Maintenance visits are scheduled within a period ranging from two to five working days.
• If the customer’s location is more than 80 km away from the service center, scheduling will be arranged based on the nearest available appointment.
• For projects and large units, warranty terms are applied as per the contract or specific warranty certificate.


Additional Terms

• Products must be received within 30 days from the order date; otherwise, the company has the right to cancel the order.


Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover the following cases:

• Misuse or failure to follow operating instructions.
• Damages caused by breakage, shocks, or external factors.
• Repairs or modifications carried out by unauthorized parties.
• Improper installation by a party not affiliated with the company.
• Cleaning and routine maintenance work.
• Consumable parts, refrigerants, oils, and parts subject to normal wear and tear.
• Any faults resulting from non-manufacturing external or operational causes.


Notes

• If it is proven that the issue is (outside warranty coverage), the customer will bear inspection and repair costs.

Return & Exchange Policy

In our commitment at Zamil Air Conditioners to customer satisfaction and delivering the best experience, we clarify the return and exchange policy as follows:


1. Return & Exchange Conditions

• The original purchase invoice must be retained.
• A return or exchange request can be submitted within 14 days from the product delivery date.
• The product must be:
o In its original condition
o Unused
o Not installed
o With all accessories and original packaging
• In technical exchange cases, the request is subject to a maintenance team visit and a technical report determining the reason for replacement.


2. Costs

• The customer bears delivery charges in cases of return or exchange.
• If a manufacturing defect is confirmed (based on an approved technical report), replacement or maintenance will be provided free of charge.


3. Special Cases

• If a product is returned after opening its packaging, the company reserves the right to deduct up to 30% of the product value, depending on its condition and resale possibility.


4. Refunds

• Refund processing takes 7 to 14 working days depending on bank procedures.


5. Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Cases

• Used or operated products.
• Installed products.
• Products damaged due to misuse.
• Free services (such as installation or delivery) are non-refundable.


Installation Policy

To ensure a safe and professional installation service, the following terms and conditions apply:


1. General Conditions

• The invoice is issued automatically upon product delivery.
• Installation service is available within 14 days from the delivery date; after that, the right to request the service is forfeited.
• The customer must be present at the installation site. In case of delay, the installation team will wait a maximum of 30 minutes before canceling the appointment.
• If site access requires permits/security clearance, prior coordination is required to avoid delays or cancellation.


2. Installation Site Requirements

• A safe working environment must be provided for the installation team.
• For elevated or hard-to-reach locations, the customer must provide a suitable ladder or scaffolding.
• The installation height must not exceed 3 meters.
• If the wall is concrete, a designated opening for piping must be available; otherwise, installation cannot be completed.


3. Installation Scope

• Standard installation includes:
o Installation of indoor and outdoor units
o Basic connections up to 4 meters of copper piping

• The service does not include:
o Electrical extensions
o Mounting brackets
o Any additional work beyond the standard scope


4. Additional Costs

• Additional charges apply for:
o Extra copper piping meters
o Mounting brackets
o Any additional work depending on site conditions

• Any additional costs must be paid before starting installation.

• The company has the right to apply additional transportation charges for locations more than 50 km away from major cities (Dammam – Riyadh – Jeddah – Jazan), at a rate of 1 SAR per additional kilometer beyond the specified distance.


5. Non-Included Services

The following are considered additional services with separate charges:

• Removal of old AC unit
• Relocation of the unit (within the site)
• Reinstallation of a used AC unit


6. Liability Limitations

• The company is not responsible for:
o Site electrical extensions
o Quality of pre-installed copper piping
o Weak cooling performance in the following cases:
§ Installing the outdoor unit in a closed shaft
§ Choosing an unsuitable capacity for the space


7. Replacement After Installation

• Repairable products cannot be replaced.
• Replacement is only allowed if:
o A manufacturing defect is confirmed
o Or the fault is irreparable
Based on an approved technical report.


We are committed to professionalism and reserve the right to suspend service in case of misconduct towards our team.


Delivery & Shipping Policy

To provide a smooth and fast experience, the following delivery terms apply:


1. Delivery Time

• Delivery starts once the product is available, within 5 to 7 working days.
• Delivery time may vary depending on the city and shipping provider.
• Customers will be notified of any updates via SMS or email.


2. Express Delivery (Within 24 Hours)

Express delivery within 24 hours is available in the following main cities:

• Dammam
• Khobar
• Dhahran
• Riyadh
• Jeddah
• Jazan
• Ras Tanura


3. Delivery & Installation Coverage

Delivery and installation services (for split and window units) are available in:

Western Region:
Jeddah – Makkah – Madinah – Taif – Yanbu

Central Region:
Riyadh – Qassim

Eastern Region:
Dammam – Khobar – Dhahran – Qatif – Ras Tanura – Jubail – Abqaiq – Al Ahsa

Southern Region:
Jazan – Abu Arish


4. Outside Main Cities

• Delivery is carried out first via a shipping company.
• Installation is scheduled the next day or based on the nearest available appointment.
• Direct coordination will be done between the customer and the technician.
• Installation is not performed on the same day as delivery.


5. Seasons & Official Holidays

• Delivery and installation may be affected during official holidays such as:
o Eid Al-Fitr
o Eid Al-Adha

• During Hajj season, services may be delayed in:
o Makkah
o Madinah

Due to:
• Security permit requirements
• Traffic regulations
• Operational restrictions


• The company has the right to apply additional transportation charges for locations more than 50 km away from major cities (Dammam – Riyadh – Jeddah – Jazan), at a rate of 1 SAR per additional kilometer beyond the specified distance.

• In case of delivery only, Cooline products include 4 meters of copper piping, while other products do not include any copper piping.

• The company is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond control such as weather conditions, government decisions, or emergencies.

• By completing the purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all the above terms and conditions.
